"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6
"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well" James 5:15
We know that God hears each of your voices as we trek through this journey of making this community a reality. We need prayers and we thank you for interceding for us!
How you can pray for us:
~Pray for the foster children of the world...Father I pray for protection over the foster children of the world as they face their daily struggles. Keep them innocent through some of the most tragic circumstance and heal their broken hearts. I pray that You will pour down love onto them and show your presence in such a way that You will ultimately be glorified in their lives. I pray that the foster children of the world will find homes that promise safety, consistency and love.
~ Pray for the Living Tree...Father I pray that this community will help thousands of children find a permanent home as well as be a vessel for the work that You have envisioned. I know that You will provide the funds that we need. Thank you for your trustworthiness! I pray that those who are leading this journey will follow in Your footsteps, and that this community will do amazing things for your Kingdom.
~ Prayer for those who are being called...Father we know that You are going before us and laying out the groundwork for the Living Tree, so I want to pray that You will continue to prepare the hearts of those that You are calling to be a part of this great ministry. I pray that they won't be able to deny their calling to help develop the community, live as a family within the community or become a volunteer with us. Father, thank you for being our masterful planner!
~ Prayer for Community... Though the house foundations are not yet laid, there will soon be homes that house broken foster children. We ask for prayer for what's to come. That every bedroom door that closes for bedtime offers a feeling of comfort. That every front porch will be the best place to find children playing and families sharing life. That every homework session offers a new hope towards a new future and that the kids can start to daydream about what God's has in store for them. Pray that the houses will be symbols of the perminency and love in the children's lives.
